Please be aware that there will be no IT Support available during the October half term and any tickets sent after 3:30 pm on Friday 22nd October will be responded to on Monday 1st November 2021.

Just a reminder on the process of requesting support from IT;

• All IT issues should be reported to helpdesk@bluecoatschool.org.uk
• The helpdesk is monitored between 8am-4pm Monday to Friday, and there will not be a response to any tickets outside of these hours
• There is no need to send multiple tickets you just need to be patient
• Students should not email me directly, all requests need to be sent via the helpdesk

Password Resets

If you have not reset your password since we returned in September please consider changing it before half term.

If you are in school with access to a school computer please follow the steps below to reset your password;

•             Login to the school computer using your school username and password

•             Once logged in press Ctrl, Alt & Delete

•             Click ‘Change Password’ in the options that appear

•             Enter your old password AND the new password

•             Click the arrow

If you are not in school, don’t have access to a school computer, or cannot remember your old password and need to reset your Email/Edulink password you should email the helpdesk and include the information below, if you do not provide this information the password cannot be reset

•             your full name & school username

•             an alternative email address that you have access to (this cannot be your school email address)

Your new password will be sent to the email address provided so please make sure that you spell the email address correctly.

Please set the subject of the email to Password Reset and remember not to type the entire message into the subject line as I am unable to read it all.
