“These excellent A Level results are a very positive start for the students as they move forward towards their chosen degree courses and employment ventures. Following our “Outstanding School” accolade presented by OFSTED earlier this year, it was a delight to see the evidence of our work in these results and in the smiling faces of students that received their good news this morning. It is a real testament to the effort that the staff and pupils have put in to driving forward the standards in the school, most importantly it is a fair reflection of the emphasis the school has placed on developing its mentoring and support strategies for all students. This is confirmation for me that Blue Coat Church of England School can build upon these solid foundations as an outstanding school to enhance the life skills of all our students and help them to thrive through academic excellence within a nurturing environment.”
